Make note cards for the following vocabulary words:
physical change
change of state
melting point
boiling point
freezing point
evaporates
condenses
freezes
freezes
Think of an example of water changing state in nature. Draw and label a diagram of this change. Add arrows to represent thermal energy and show the direction of its movement (see page 13 for an example).

I did an exaple of freezing. I drew three pictures. The first one was of water. The second one was of the water half frozen. The third one was of the water compleatly frozen.
ReplyDeleteI did an example of evaporation. I drew a puddle with less water every time. On the second one there is a picture with water evapoating. In the end there was no water.

ReplyDeleteI drew a snowman for solid,a stream for liquid, and a person breathing for gas. I also drew arrows. Solid to liquid to gas and from gas to liquid to solid.
